Coriant Combines with a Brilliant Mind to Aim for the Future

Anyone familiar with the business of high tech firms will probably be familiar with the name Coriant. And they might also be familiar with Pat DiPietro, long time CEO of the company. But unless one is paying especially close notice to the company’s status a seemingly simple fact might have gone unnoticed. This involves a change in position within the company. This is important news for any company when it involves a higher level executive position. But when it involves the CEO than one can be certain that it’s the herald for big changes in the future. That’s why it’s important to take a look at the impact that the new CEO, Shaygan Kheradpir, might have on the company.

The first and perhaps most important aspect of a new CEO to consider is their compatibility with the company. Every company has a unique culture within it. From the outside the tech sector might look fairly similar. But from the inside one quickly realizes that these are among the fastest paced and most innovative companies in the world. To properly guide a tech company one must be able understand the culture within it. The ways in which teams are organized, the overall philosophy guiding people’s performance, and the sense of how diversification of resource and product allocations are performed are just a few of the examples of why this is so important. This is also one of the reasons why the news of Shaygan Kheradpir taking the position of CEO is so significant. Shaygan Kheradpir has already proven that he’s a perfect and highly compatible selection for the role. Because he’s already worked quite closely with senior management within Coriant in the past. This essentially means that Shaygan Kheradpir is starting out with a tremendous amount of momentum. There’s little need to wonder how well he’ll fit the position because it’s already been demonstrated long before he actually took the role. It was obvious right from the start that he’d be the perfect addition to Coriant.

Of course there’s far more to the position of CEO than getting along with fellow executives. However, this touches on another aspect of Shaygan Kheradpir’s career which makes him a perfect match for Coriant. Coriant is a company which has been successful enough that they’ve incorporated many other companies into themselves over the years. This has of course had a tremendous positive impact on the company’s economic success. But it’s also created a technological scope within the company which is far broader than many of their competitors. It can be a daunting proposition to take the reins of a company that works on so many different products and technologies. However, Kheradpir has himself worked within the full landscape of the tech world. He’s spent over 28 years working within different facets of the tech world in an executive capacity. This has involved everything from financial service technologies to general telecommunications.

The scope of his experience means that he’s instantly in tune with the unique aspects of any given field. Executives are often removed from the methodologies and development philosophies of the people working under them. This makes it difficult to adequately leverage those assets in the business world. But people like Kheradpir who’ve immersed themselves in every aspect of the industry know exactly how to make the best use of their employees and teams. After all, Kheradpir has worked in powerhouses such as GTE and Verizon. One can be certain that he brings a similar vision for powerful but agile business decisions to Coriant as well.
